We need more shows like Ugly Betty

I noticed in a lot of family type TV shows that the dads are average joes and overweight and the moms are skinny and pretty. I hate this! It's not that I don't think the guys like them aren't worthy for the women but there are rarely any opposites! I don't think I have ever seen a handsome, athletic guy with a geeky or curvy women! Actually most of the women on TV are pretty and attractive, even if they are curvy. Ugly Betty is a good show and one of the few that has an average looking female. Yet, she is with a sort of geeky boyfriend and the actress who plays Ugly Betty is pretty! (I also dislike that the sterotype for people with glasses and braces are considered UGLY or nerdy, because I once had both.) Anyway this is why, the movie and book, A Walk to Remember, is one of my favorites! I loved the TV show called, The Beauty and the Geek, on WB, created by Ashton Kutcher, but I wished they would do a series, called the The Hunk and the Geek(girl). Lol, I guess that how entertainment is run.
