I hate how some people feel like they have to rush into saying the "three little words" in a relationship. So many high schoolers and even adults tell their "significant other" they love them before they actually mean it. I understand people just want to love and be loved in return, but saying I love you, or feeling pressured to, often leads to dissapointment. (Been there, done that.) Or maybe most people just dont know what love is. If everyone continues to use those three little words, it seems as though their meaning becomes diminished.
I have had three boyfriends total, all of them I felt "serious" about, each one I felt more and more for. Thinking I loved them, I told the first two I did, but after a while, I lost intrest. I wanted more than anything to love my ex boyfriends. and I thought I knew what love was. Many people want to believe something so badly, that they often begin to.

my first serious relationship (i'm getting back together with her after a two month hiatus) is the epitomy of love...we're so damn crazy for each other.
but to be honest, i've gone through a lot of girls to find this one- it makes the reward that much better!

This is gonna sound terrible, but it's true:
I took it back.
He said he loved me. And, feeling a bit pressured, I lied through my buck-teeth and said I loved him as well. But I couldn't deal with the lie. Because he kept using that phrase, trying to get me to say it again. So, after about a week, I 'fessed up. And told him I didn't love him yet. We've lasted for two years after the event, so it must not have been a terrible descision...
Dunno, it's one solution.
i just got engaged and im in high school senior year. i was always the person who said i dont want anything serious my senior year ill be moving on with life and leaving so why put myself through that...
because love is the greatest feeling of all! and once you find that person you want to be with you know it...growing up military i also always said i will never marry into the military...fiance is air force...
and you talk about rushing i was engaged after two months call me crazy thats fine love makes you do crazy things...
and i believe you fall in love multiple times before you find the one because you fall in love with each person for a different reason...so dont hold back many wont say i love you unless they actually feel that way because if even for a second you think about saying i love you...you probably do love that person so much more than you could ever imagine!
