We As Human Beings

Why is it that when we, as human beings like what we see, will try our utmost to get it. Is it that the self gratification genes in us, is what makes us strive for it. Why must we have it? To be above everyone in the material world? Or personal gain? Do we really need it or is it to have more than what the next door neighbor has? Part two: Life always presents ideas/problems/trials/work/ or whatever it may be. Is it our "job" to work through these situations? I would like to think so. I think that there is a reason for these situations, sometimes we dont understand why but there is a reason.  But there is. Most of the time we do work through them unsucessfully/sucessfully. When we do then we learn from these situations good or bad. It is then we should look back and try to understand why it has happened.

It's called competition. It is what America thrives on. See, some say that Communism would be a wonderful idea, because everything would be uniformity. And two of the same workers, whether one had more experience than the other, would get the same pay. But this would not work, because there is not COMPETITION. It is what America loves to join in on. Some feel they should have more expensive cars, or a bigger house, while others feel they need a better grade ins chool or a higher promotion at work. You can't fight it, and you'll never get away from it, because I'm just as competitive as the next American.
