2008 Election-Will this be the best one yet?

Is this upcoming 2008 Election the best to come? With the candidates Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama, Rudy Guiliani and John McCain it is a win-win situation. This is the first time in 80 years the vice-president is not running in the next election. And I think this is a good thing. Dick Cheney is not president material and he knows it himself. He said "I will say just as hard as I possibly know how to say... If nominated, I will not run; if elected, I will not serve".

It is said that this is the most expensive election ever. That a serious candidate would have to raise 100 million dollars to have a chance at keeping up.

I am proud to say that I will definately voting in this election since I will finally be of legal age. As of right now my vote is Barack Obama. I Think america is finally ready for a black president and he has his views in the right place. I like hilary Clinton but I don't think she is the right women for the job. To clean up President Bush's mess would be to much for her to handle.

My current goal is to get as many of my fellow classmates to register to vote and actually show up for the 2008 presidential election. My plan is still in thinking process and won't start till the next school year because many of us are still under 17 years of age but if you have any ideas comment me.

Yeah the country isn't ready for a woman president. I think it would be odd to say "Madame President".

It does not matter that Hillary is a woman or that Obama is black!! To understand what I'm talking about, read "Woman, Black, Hispanic, WHO CARES??!?!" in my blog. It is ridiculous that some Americans choose their candidate for President like this. At least you're involved in the election, though. Congrats.

Win-win? I think lose-lose is more accurate. No candidate has solid views that will help the nation in the state it's currently in. As someone who will be old enough to vote in this election...it looks like this first election in which I can vote will be the worst yet.

I would contest your addition of the Rudinator in the category of "win-win." The Onion got it right when they said he was running for "president of 9/11." The man hasn't got the skill to prevent a terrorist attack before it happens, which is much better than being able to lead after one.
