Abort what?

Hey people of the world,

Today I want to talk about something that is an important issue to many.
Abortion.

Here's how I see it. I don't care what you think of abortion in general, whether you think its right or wrong, good or evil. I could care less, but I do not believe that the government should have the power to tell you that you cannot have one if you choose to do so. I honestly believe that if you give your government the power to that it will set an example that will lead a slow and painful path toward an authoritative government. One of the first of many things to be slowly taken away from you.

I believe its a matter of choice. It really doesn't matter how the embryo or fetus ( not a baby)* was concieved. Rape, consenual underage, accidental, ect. it doesn't matter for those of you who say it's only okay in certain situations. Why? Because its still a potential lifeform, a potential human with a number of possiblities in its possible future. You're killing this potential person. That's my little arguement against those people. I think that the parent(s) have a choice to terminate these possiblities.

What if the child will be born into a horrible existence, condemming them to a lifetime of pain and suffering because of your lifestyle?

What if the child will be born with some sort of abnormality that will be detrimental to their life? Mental retardation? Physical retardation? WOn't they be teased, bullied, abused by their "peers"?

What if you simply can't provide what the child needs physically( bed, food, home) or emotionally as a parent and refuse to hand he/she to a stranger?

Who are you to tell these people what they can and cannot do with their own body? As the parent of this potential person, it the parent's choice to abort or not, not yours. Who are you to tell strangers that they can't do this? You don't get to make decisions for others, they have their choice, and the government should not take that choice away. This country was founded on the idea that we are free, and you remove a part of this freedom when you take this choice away. If you can convince them one on one not to, then okay. But its their choice and the government has no right to tell them otherwise.

*Until the fetus is about eight months along, then it's much more akin to a tumor than a baby because it can't live on its own. It doesn't meet the scientific definition for life until about that time. Not that I don't call it a baby, its just not until that time. No offense meant by that.

Alright that's it for now. See ya later and have a good one!

Bands I like: My Chemical Romance (not emo), Queen, Rush, Gnarls Barkely, Black Eyed Peas, Led Zepplin, Police, Lamb of God, Linkin Park, Gorillaz, Blur, Gwen Stefani, and David Bowie. More later.
