A little about myself and my views

I am going to start my first blog with some information about myself. I am currently a computer science student at Tulane University in New Orleans. I am in my first year here, but due to the cutting of the computer science department I am in the middle of finding a new school. I am a native of Illinois in the most northern part of Southern Illinois. Here at Tulane I am a member of the College Democrats. However I see myself more moderate then I am liberal. I also lean more towards the left then I do the right. I believe that the currently the Republican Party is not trying to help the people and are only in it for themselves. However the democrat party is not in the best of shape as well. But, I see the democrats more likely do better things then the republicans at this time. This is why I see myself as a democrat. Many of my views are down the middle and many times I think that a compromise can be reached and sometimes is the best thing for everyone. My blog will mainly consist of my views of news stories, political or personal views, as well as anything I would like to share to everyone.
