The aspect of getting a good education is to better yourself in life right? well..why do some kids think that school is just a waste of time? Education shoulb be something someone cherishes and beg to have because some places over the world arent privileged to have it, and that's what most americans take for granted. Where i'm from teenagers cherishes their education because the ones who are able to go to school without any obligations are the blessed ones. In africa and all other 3rd world countries, all of them are not able to have the chance for a free and good education without worrying if they will be able to afford to go to school the other year or even finish the year they're in. Now some teenagers in America think that they can just quit as soon as they touch 17, because school is too hard and its a waste of time. The schooling here is the easiest ever, and they just want to throw it away like that...luckily most of them have alot of sense enough to know that it dont matter if it comes easy you should still try to succeed by it. Education is the only thing that can give you a stable future. Food to put on your table, money in your pocket "and i know everyone likes to have money in their pockets". All i'm trying to say guys is that education is the most important thing in life, so cherish it because not everyone in the world is as privileged as you.

i agree with you 100%. there are so many people in the world who will never even see the inside of a school. i had the opportunity to go to school in Pakistan and i was a very bad student. i hated school, i hated studying and getting up and going to school was just a pain. and then i moved to chicago and all changed. now i love school, i love studying (not really but whatever works) and now i'm an almost straight A student. the education here is a lot easier than in Pakistan and the best part is, you dont have to take finals until you are in highshool. i had to take them in the first grade too!! its sorta funny when u think about it...now Mahreen honey, sing the alphabet for me please. =0)
Education is important. But America's education system needs some serious work. I dropped out of highschool (after taking one class) at fourteen. My parents educated me at home and I started college at 16 and still have a 4.0 gpa to this day. You can take your education seriously without needing to have a traditional education. The important thing is the information itself. And that DOES need to be taken seriously.
