If I see one more blog on Britney Spears (or any other celebrities, for that matter) on our beloved ProgressiveU (or anywhere in this world, for that matter), I'm gonna cry, kill myself, and haunt everyone who has made me this miserable.
First, get the fucking name right. It's not Brittney or Britany or Brittany. It's B-R-I-T-N-E-Y, which is not that hard to remember. Misspelling her name is not a good way to show that you could care less about her. Haven't you seen her name enough times to remember how it's spelled?
Next, stop pretending like you could care less about her. If you take the time to write about her, obviously you care about her to a degree. Quit bitching about how people are stupid for caring that much about celebrities when there's a "war on Iraq" and other such important issues. You are stupid for caring about what stupid people care about, and I am stupid for writing this blog, but my current blood temperature can boil an egg and crack it open and I feel it necessary to plague you all with a death threat.
You don't need to mention a celebrity to make some half-assed progressive points. Any Britney-related progressive points are usually obvious or have been stated so many times anyway. Please come up with something original.
Finally, I encourage you not to write anything about Britney Spears at all. We know you're too smart and too progressive to care about her. Let's hope everyone else will catch on. I honestly didn't expect to first find out about Britney's crotchless panties (a juicy tabloid material) from ProgressiveU, of all places. But I did.

It sucks that this happened the last weekend of the competition, but unless Art decides to make celebrities off limits, most of the scharlarship students aren't going to take the chance by ignoring her.

There are 1626 reads on this blog. Britney Spears affects nobody. None of us knows her, most of us don't want to know her and she doesn't even make music anymore. The blog before this one, on stereotypes affects everybody. Everybody deals with stereotypes. Does society suffer from some kind of disasociative disorder?
