As eager as I am about participating in the next ProgressiveU contest, I must permanently retreat from this website if I don’t want to (further) jeopardize my GPA. Because I know you all love me so much and care sincerely about my well-being, let me tell you what I’ll be up to in the next year or so.
I’ll be graduating from college in June with a degree in biochemistry. I wish I were as smart as my B. S. degree implies, but I’m not. I’ve forgotten half of the materials I’ve learned, and I’ve succeeded in my classes so far mainly by studying the exams from the previous years and memorizing things when I can’t understand them. I don’t even like science that much, and I like math even worse. Calculus made me cry, linear algebra made me angry, and physics made me want to chop off someone’s head, not excluding my own. For two years straight I complained about my math and science classes to whomever willing to (pretend to) listen, and even now I still get mild seizures when I stare at my bio or chemistry text for too long.
Some time in September, I’ll be heading to Singapore, my dream country. It is reportedly a fine place to be for one who has a fresh degree in biochemistry, especially if one also speaks both English and Mandarin (hurray for multilingualism!). Depending on how well things work out, I might say goodbye forever to Uncle Sam. I may not. While the U.S. is not a perfect country, I’m sure there are several things I’d miss from this country. Like free Internet access. And $1- burgers.
Blogging for the scholarship (and for progress, of course) had been a nice experience, but I don’t need any scholarships anymore. After I discovered a way to obtain porn by the crates and sell individual porn online, my economic situation has vastly improved. Demands will always be high, as this country will never run out of lonely grahzny bratchnies with money. My mommy will be so proud of me…
Anyway, I'm far too practical and flexible to continue whining about everything that is wrong with society and the government.

You shall be missed. Singapore is a wonderful choice- I had a friend who lived there and an islamic philosophy professor recently moved there. I hear there's no poverty. And it's beautiful.
Anyway, America still indeed has its perks. The American Dream still exists, although it's much harder to grasp.
