Oddly enough out of all the topics I have blogged on, the most controversial one has been animal rights. I think it's frightening how many people just skimmed over my blog and jumped right into accusing me of monstrosities. I never once condoned animal violence, I just downplayed animal violence. I'm generally indiferrent to animal violence, I don't approve of it, I think pit fighting is a horribly hickish way of getting kicks. I also think abusing animals is a very good sign of a very bad individual. However, most people assumed I was condoning animal violence whereas I was just saying human rights are infinitly more important than animal rights, we shouldn't concern ourselves with shutting down fur producers and medical health facilities. Animals are second to humans, we've earned our right in natural selection, why place lesser species in front of us? I assure you they would never do the same for us. One guy went as far as to call me a F****** Retard and threaten violence on me, for what? I said that animals were inclined towards violence, not sensless violence no, but in the wild they would fight for alpha-male status and these feral states are natural. Apparently it's also natural in humans.
This all serves my point: People are so knee-jerk. There are so many topics which if someone even hears a hint of something disagreeable they will simply and instinctually be offended and fight with you. For example, I went to see a comedian in Denver a while ago, as of one point he made the following statement:
"The church is being feminized."
Now, he didn't even say anything negative here, he stated something and gave proof for it, but women piped up and stated offense. He then pointed out to them that he wasn't even saying anything negative, and showed them how knee-jerk the topic of feminism was. You so much as MENTION something being feminine and you'll get harrassed, if you say a woman can't do something as well as a man, you're suddenly a chauvanist.
He then went on to make another statement:
"Men are better at sports than women."
Naturally the room grew silent and all the women glared at him. He asked for them to disprove him, and obviously no one could, women aren't in professional sports for a very good reason: Not because they're not allowed, but because men are genetically stronger. Now, there are expection, weak men and very strong women, but on the whole and genetically men are stronger, faster, and more built for action.
Now I bet some people are already getting knee-jerk and about to tell me how I'm wrong. Okay, go ahead and prove me wrong on this. I'm sorry, but men are stronger as a whole. To say they're not is as absurd as saying men can be as beautiful as women. I'm sorry, but girls just look better, they genetically are a more attractive part of the species (this is not to say beauty is a woman's only role, it was just the first analogy I could draw.)
Feminism has been brought to the point where we can no longer even beging to imply supuriority in any field over females. I'm sorry, but we have genetic pros and cons, why can't we exploit these any more? As I stated in my last post on natural selection, were we without technology and comforts of society there would be no such thing as feminism, in the wild, without society women would rely on men and men would rely on women, all for their specialized traits.
Now, the most controversial and most prone to knee-jerk part of this argument: emotion. And I'll come out and say it, men aren't as emotional as women. This isn't a sterotype or a bad thing, our LIMBIC SYSTEMS ARE FREAKING DIFFERENT! A man's limbic system allows more rational, emotion-free decision making, whereas a female's adds a beautiful touch of humanity with emotions. This isn't bad, but why can't we harness these roles? Men leading, women supporting the man and being his completiong. Men and women are designed to work together and not apart, marriage is like this, survival is like this, we need each other. This doesn't make one sex greater than the other, just because man is meant to be a leader doesn't mean he's better, just designed to lead. A man can not be a good leader without a woman fulfilling her proper roles, and a woman can not survive without a man. IT'S SYMBIOSIS.

I agree with what you are saying here, It is like having two horses pulling a cart together, they need eachother. :D
There's professional basketball, softball, tennis, lacrosse, swimming, and other sports that women are in. Women can't play football because of the way they would be knocked around, they wouldn't be able to concieve a child; or at least that's what the football coach at my high school said. And I know personally that there are many females who started out playing baseball, like me, but by the time they got to jr high, we had to start playing softball because of the title IX rules.
I've heard men say that women are stronger than them because we can bare children. Men don't go through any pain that equals the pain of childbirth. Yes, today we have medicines to get us through it, but what about back in the days before conventional medicine.
I'm not saying that I disagree with you, but I just put some examples out there for you.
I will permit no man to narrow and degrade my soul by making me hate him. ~Booker T. Washington
