The media trust Wald Disney have just finalized the taking over of Pixar Animation Studios. The share holdfers of Pixar voted this transaction of 7.4 billion dollars (!). At the moment of the transaction a Disnay share valued $25.52. The sum of 7.4 billion dollar will be paid in shares, thus making Steve Jobs (the general manager of Pixar) the greatest individual share holder of Disney.
I remember the stories about how Disney started and stuff. It seems like we are talking about a completely different Disney. It's amazing how, by trying to do something for kids, the 'followers' of Disney became so wealthy.

I think that Disney was very desparate. They made a movie "Chicken Little" and though it would be all that. Before this, they made so much money in finding Nemo and all of those movies. They were so "up there" that they left Pixar. Now they are crawling back, how sad
