This is a mildly entertaining clip from MSNBC's Joe Scarborough that highlights Bush's classic assault on the
English language. It poses the question, "Is Bush an idiot?" My family and I don't agree on much, but we have
wholeheartedly agreed from day one that Bush, indeed, is an idiot. Some people argue that he just gets tongue
tied and that perhaps he isn't the intellectual type, but who cares? They say we don't need the gift of speech and
intellectual depth to run a country. Besides the fact that we think he is unintelligent, it is also interesting to point
out that the power of spoken word is what brings people together and makes them believe in you. It is what sticks
in people's minds and hearts, what shapes their thoughts and beliefs. Today still, we recognize Patrick Henry's "Give
me liberty, or give me death!", and Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech. This is because they and their
speeches shaped our history. Do you really think any of George Bush's speeches will be remembered for anything other
than to make fun of them? I don't.
So without further adieu, I bring to you:

Now some of those clips are absolutely phenomenal.

One can have problems with public speaking and still be intelligent... however, I don't see that with Bush. He can barely form a coherent sentence at any given moment and that drives me insane. Someone will ask him a question about something and he is obviously clueless as to what a word, a sentence, a concept really means. And that is how the American people are viewed thanks to him. There is nothing worse than being in a conversation with someone and having them say "Wow. I thought Americans were like your president; not very bright."
