Iran

There is little in the news recently that proves overwhelmingly exciting, even somewhat possitive, or worth debating. The President and his Iraq study group are no more than an annoyance; we all know nothing will come out of it? Did he learn anything from the 911 report? No. Sadly, the only story that even caught my attention was Mahmous Amedenijad's anti-semetism. Yesturday, he held a holocaust deniers convention.

That's right kids, an entire forum of anti-semites sitting together to pretend as if they all think the Holocaust didn't happen. What fun!

No worrying though, I'm over here in the good old US of A to disprove them whether they know it or not (or not being the correct answer). So here is what I'd like to do. I'd like for them to hold this convention in the gas chambers at Majdanek with the doors locked. I'd like them to see the cyclone B stains on the walls, and the nail marks on the door. I'd love for them to smell it. I'd like them to look through the little glass hole the Nazis stared into as they suffocated human beings to death. I'd love for them to hold a debate in the furnaces. Each debater can take a comfortable seat in the oven. And afterwards they can enjoy a picnic on the hills of the mass graves just between the ovens, and the 7 ton pile of human ash. Oh, and while theyre at it, take a recess break and play in the barracks (but be careful not to turn on any switches, Majdanek can be up and running in 36 hours).

After this fun first day we'd go on a field trip to a little shtetl called Ticochen. Here we can take nice long walks in the old Jewish cemetary, and talk to the towns people about their grandparents old jewish neighbors that all meraculously dissapeared the same night. After comes the exciting part. They can then walk a few miles into the woods and see the familiar sight of mass graves. This time though they'll be eaten alive my mass amounts of mesquitos in the forrest (mmm). Where to next kids? Ah, how about Aushwitz. Perfect! They can go swimming- in the human ash pools that cover this place. MMMM what good fun! While they're at it the everyone can have fun seeing who can last longest in one of the couple hundred barracks in the dark (sitting on top of a triple decker). Then they can go to Dr. Medele's office and play with the tools he used to poke at little kids eyeballs, or scaples he used to cut open twins (too bad his office has been locked and never opened again by the Polish government).

Some more adventure for holocaust didn't happen extravaganza! They can get a new pair of shoes from the shoe piles. Or make a wig from the room filled with humand hair. They can purchase a suitcase, or a pair of glasses, a fake appendage, or even a prayer shawl. Children's clothes are half off. Oh what fun!

Mr. Ahmadenejad: don't try to convince the world this didn't happen; no one's listening. I was there. I walked the death camps. I smelled, and touched, and tasted the death. My family didn't all make it out alive. If you're too coward to step foot in Poland to see it, then so be it. But I'm still here, and so is Israel (for that reason) and we're both here to stay.

You've said it better than just about anyone could.

The Islamo-Natzi Ahmadenejad not only denies the holocaust but is hoping to recreate it.

We must be ever watchful and diligent.

The problem is that at this point, you can't fix Ahmadi-nejad. He has been indoctrinated from birth to believe that the Jews are filthy, lying cheaters and crooks. Iranians who are Christian, albeit a small minority, even believe that Jews sacrifice Christian babies for fun (even depicted on an Iranian Christmas special television program). Growing up with that kind of endless propoganda and prejudice, of course he's going to think the Jews made up the Holocaust (remember they're filthy liars, now). And he's going to think that they're crooked and treacherous and unholy and evil. At this point, that is not going to change.

What we need to do is to try to prevent this endless cycle of anti-Semitism from continuing to infect the next generation of Iranians (as well as other Middle Eastern nations that share similar notions). Only by allowing children to grow up without these hateful messages bombarding them and corrupting their impressions of Jews can they be able to think and reason for themselves on the matter and realize that these beliefs make no sense. Then maybe the next president (whenever another one comes to power) might be a little less anti-Semetic than Ahmadi-nejad, and the one after him even less.

For the title - if there is an internet letter combo for "evil laugh", tell me. Otherwise, bwaaaahahaha.

They know. You're not dealing with idiots here. (Except maybe the ex-leader of the KKK, who attended that conference - he's probably an idiot). The rest of them though, they know. The holocaust did happen. Those who deny it are either those indoctrinated fools you mentioned, or they're in group 2. The leaders of nations are not fools. They're group 2.

Anti-semitism is USEFUL. Heck, it united Germany. Hatred of anyone is useful, because it binds together the masses. And in most areas of the world, "the masses" can usually be replaced with "the DUmasses". The leaders, though, they know what they're doing. Historical evidence says the holocaust happened, so it did. They're in positions of power, so they know power's limitations. People cannot fake that. I don't care who, NOBODY can fake something like that.

But these people of group 2 use anti-semitism to their benefit. It keeps the public mind off nasty things like corruption and government inadequacy. They say that the holocaust never happened because WHEN THEY SAY IT, PEOPLE FALL FOR IT. Fact of life - you just can't teach some people enough that they won't fall for these dumb tricks (and to those who believe I'm dissing Iranians and other people of the region, YOU supported BUSH going to war in Iraq. DUmasses.)

So how to counter it? Propaganda works, my friend, and the Jews aren't particularly likeable to the people whose land Europe gave the Jews so many years back. And we probably shouldn't storm in with "White Western education for all". If it didn't look like the U.S. wanted control of the region before...

Not to worry, though. With U.S. military backing, no amount of anti-Semitism will ever fell Israel.

Oh, also: does anybody know the name of the song that plays during the dogfight scene of Cowboy Bebop, The Movie?
If so, please let me know @ gatorrelay251@gmail.com
Best movie EVER. Maybe. Definitely best Anime to hit the U.S.

Unfortunately with the U.S. military backing Israel, the rest of the Middle East is never going to look kindly on America....Hmm...

P.S.: Love the "the masses"="DUmasses"....It's brilliant. And you raised some excellent points. I guess I'm just so used to Bush (major DUmass) that I forgot there are Cheneys out there too who can manipulate the DUmasses...

oh, i know they aren't idiots. Believe me I know. My rant comes from purely being very hurt, and upset that in 2006 this still happens. So if my post seemed a littel radical lol thats why.
as i said. this happened to my family, and ive seen it; its my heart theyre hurting now.

Please, use the right words from the media. They are meeting to debate and decide whether it happened or not. Yes, it is still loony and ludicrous that individuals such as themselves are debating it. The President of Iran (can't remember his name offhand) is a very intellectual man. He does have some smarts. But, as mentioned above, he has had the idea that Jews are evil since Day One, and no one can really blame him for thinking that way if that is what has happened in his life. Hell, we have been beat to death in schools that Martin Luther King Jr. was a pure citizen, fighting for a just cause. He was, no disputing that, but we don't know that he also had numerous affairs and over a dozen illegitimate children. So, anything can be possible.

Also, I object the the use of the blatent baseless humor in the first post. I realize it is poking fun at the disbelievers, but still, it really isn't needed. Yes, I know my share of Jew jokes, we all do, but they really are not needed for anything like that. It just shows disrespect.

those are not Jew jokes. Please do not accuse me of that. Those re my feelings from the camps...I just placed the characters who upset me in my place to try to show how hard it is, after seeing, and touching, and feeling it, to deny it.
There is NO disrespect. As I said, that was my family.
