My school is taking these school shootings very seriously. They keep us on lockdown all day. They make the teachers cover up all the windows on their door and lock their doors. I find that covering the window on the door is stupid. How do we know who we are opening door to. They can say that they are anybody at the school that we know. My history teacher she puts a peep hole through her paper. I think she the only one that does that. The front doors or the only doors that stay unlock, all the rest are locked. We always did have a cop, but rules have gotten stricter.

I think they're hoping that as an all girls school it's not going to happen to them... theyr'e probably right.
My school did that last year with bomb threats. Some things have stuck and we still do them, like only the front doors unlocked. But honestly, I feel safer sometimes with the doors locked. I wish some of my teachers still did it. I think you need to respect that your administration is only trying to keep you safe. Even though its a pain, wouldn't you rather they did and nothing happened then they gave into to students and someone just hurt?
