Leading Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia announced that its internet tablet device, the Nokia 770, will come pre-loaded with Google Talk applications. Nokia's internet tablet provides instant wireless access to the web and if, as anticipated, Google Talk is one of the featured applications it will let users send instant messages or have voice conversations over the Wi-Fi network. The device, which does not offer calls over traditional mobile networks, is 5.5 inches by 3.1 inches, has a large high contrast screen allowing users to check email, browse the internet and play videogames.

Google has already announced a deal with Nokia's rivals Motorola, to provide a version of its search software on handsets, earlier this year.

Google introduced an upgraded version of its Google Desktop software to step-up competition with Microsoft’s Windows software. Executives speaking to reporters at the company’s California headquarters also announced a range of new products including the ability for any Google user to analyze search trends and compare them to other search trends. It also said it plans to offer a more focused way to search Google for specific types of health and medical information. There are also a growing number of applications Google offers, including the recently introduced Google Calendar.

I really like Google and a lot of their products. I wish I had invested in their company back when they first started because I would be rich as hell now. I hope they release the operating system that I have been hearing rumors of. I hate Windows, I have a Mac right now.
