This is my first blog entry on Progressive U.
I suppose since it is my first entry, the liberty will be taken to write about what other question -- why blog? There are much too many answers to this, but as I have made an argument, I have the obligation to back them up with crucial evidence.
First off, blogging is an example of personal freedom, a principle that Progessive U tries to further in its mission statement. This is too true because we have seen that time and time again, the blog, or web-log in its long form, has shown itself to be a tour-de-force when it comes to such issues as politics, entertainment and what not. In fact, blogs on the internet are fast coming into their own, far surpassing the likes of newspapers and online newspapers. Oh the joy that the Internet has brought us.
Second, blogging is revolutionary. I've covered that in my first paragraph but if you look at it, where would people be without blogging.
Third, blogging is a business. These days, you have this blogging service, blogger, xanga, livejournal... the list goes on. Someone will make money these days.
So as I begin this blog (and hopefully make some money from it), I hope to capture the attention of people and perhaps create a niche of my own online in the place that is Progressive U. You'll learn more about me as the entries increase.
