Don't you people know how to feckin' write?

Seriously, PU bloggers (and beyond), learn how to use the enter/return key.  Reading a huge block of text that is over seven sentences long is absolutely annoying (sometimes even that is straining).  How am I supposed to want to read and comment on your entry if looking at your one paragraph of 42 sentences is too overwhelming?

Another thing that you should look up is capitalization.  It is not "i," it is "I."  Words after periods (that's the . symbol) should be capitalized unless it is an abbreviation (that is not at the end of a sentence)... Just because you are offended, does not mean you should bring up e e cummings.  You are not him and I highly doubt you write well enough to even be considered someone similar.

Know the rules of grammar before you fucking break them.

Commas are neat.  Use them.

Would it not be disappointing if the person that won the scholarship could not even write?  Yeah, sure it is the internet... but grammar is sexy.  It should be used all over.

Not to mention, netspeak on a website for academics makes one look like they have the intelligence of a shoe.

I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I think its ok if grammar isnt perfect. some people are just bad at it. but at least they can still get their point across. and sometimes it just takes too long to perfect all of your sentences and capitalizations and stuff like that.

I'm not saying it has to be stupendously perfect, but if you can't capitalize every sentence- or if it takes too long, you must be quite slow.

Some people are under the impression that it's what they say that matters, not the way they say it. This is not English class; don't be a grammar nazi!

Whatever. I usually just don't read blogs that are riddled with grammatical errors and blogs that consist of only one huge paragraph.

In my opinion at least, the "what" is affected profoundly by the "how."

It's extremely difficult to argue a point if the readers can't even understand what you're typing! Use correct grammar people, we have been learning english for a minimum of 10 years, so you would think we would be able to type BASIC sentences. Of course there will be some errors...but we're trying to represent the teenage generation; do we really want to appear as though we do not have a basic understand of the English language?

What is the point of readers understanding your blog? Nine times out of ten they don't even grasp the point you are trying to say. This website is full of a bunch of dumb people. I hardly ever find someone that actually leaves an educated critique of my writing. Instead they pick one part of my whole blog and dwells on it. Or brings in useless infomation to prove a point that has nothing to do with my blog. So if you are going to bitch about one thing bitch about them all.

Yay! Thank you!

And as an added note, never, ever type sentences in CAPS-lock. Ever. You will look like a moron.
