Bush swears on television

Bush: You see, the ... thing is what they need to do is to get Syria, to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit and it's over

As said at the G8 conferece. Remember to turn off those microphones, dudes...

I encourage you to read the full transcript - I found it incredibly amusing. Good way to instill family values, Mr. Bush. The white house simply said his words go at face value until he comments on it. I just find it amusing that the whole thing was because a microphone was still on.

I dislike what Bush has done with his role a President, but making fun of the fact that he acts as most Americans in private, is ridiculous. I don't expect Bush, or any president for that matter, to never swear or be a perfect gentleman all the time. It is simply not possible, at least for most people. For the first time in a while, I’m defending Bush; give him a break.

I will agree with you on this no one. Nobody can be perfect all the time.

When I become President I will not change my diction in private company.

It is actually refreshing to hear President Bush 1) know who the Syrian head of State is, 2) say "shit", 3) say that he can actually make up a speech on the spot.

If people actually thought that Presidents were their stodgy public selves in private, they would never elect them.

I saw the clip on the news and was wondering why this was the only thing we heard about the G8 summit.
