Blanco Calling For Money To Fix Pipeline

Blanco from Louisana called for more money for to fix pipelines on C-Span on Tuesday. Apparently Louisanan has been asking for this money for a long time and now that the hurricane has been though and called attention to the problem they hope to get the money to be approved for the repairs. Blanco went on at great length about the beauties of Lousiana and memtioned that Lousisana produces most of the domestic Oil available.
Yesterday in the Lansing State Journal there was an artical about the Alaskan Prudhoe Bay oil field. THere are leaks in that pipeline. So I would have to conclue that the time has come and the pipes are at an age that it has come time to repair and maintain existing pipelines to ensure continued usage.
