So, a couple weeks ago, I was driving through my town, and there were like 100 plus people along the side of one of the major roads. Each person had an anti abortion sign of some sort. Most of them had cheesy, generic, pro-life messages on them. It really maed me wonder what the intent of the protests were. I really don't see how thier public display of thier beliefs makes any difference. They weren't protesting for a governmental body, or in front of an abortion clinic, and as far as I'm aware, they weren't taking part in a national protest. They were just protesting for the sake of protesting. It really sort of bugs me, because all that they accomplished was shoving thier beliefs in front of other people's faces. I'm fine with them being pro-life. Some of my best friends are pro-life. I just don't agree with how they went about displaying thier beliefs. Any thoughts?

I guess protesting is just a fun thing to do. You can't go wrong with following the crowd.
Some people just like the attention, maybe they think by drawing some attention they will convert some people to their side of the issue. I remember in my home town, there was this one old lady who had a car, we use to call it the Abortion car. She was extremely Pro Life and plastered pictures of aborted babies and pro life slogans all over her car. It was really sick and disgusting but I think it drew a lot more attention than protesting ever would, a lot more effective as well I would assume. I just can't believe she never got in trouble for it. YOu would think showing pictures like that on your car would be illegal or something.
