So I am sitting here, sad that summer is slowly dying away. We are growing up, and this is scarier than anything I have ever experienced. The promises of swimming, bike rides, and cookouts are gone, and now comes the responsibility of getting ready for college. As excited as I am to move on and try new things, I am also nostalgic and worried. Anyway, I did realize today how much I really love fall, so part of this feeling is fading.
On a lighter note, I did go and see the new Sisterhood movie, and I was wondering if anyone counted how many white dresses Lena wore? It was a bit rediculous.
I also bought my first lottery ticket yesterday and, needless to say, I won nothing. I was disappointed but I knew it would happen.
I'm realizing that the saying "You can't have it all" can be quite true. I feel the closer I am getting to some people in my life, the further I am slipping from the people I care about most. Is it necessary for this to happen? I hope not.
Well, this is about all I have to say for today. Thanks to anyone listening.
As summer fades to autumn...
