Bazooka, Atomic bombs, VX nerve gas, Thermonuclear bomb, Machine guns, Small arms, Flamethrower, Napalm, White phosphorus.

All DANGEROUS and DEADLY weapons. But what really is the Deadliest weapon ever created in today's society?

Well take a minute and really think about it...
you, a friend, or your parent/ guardian more than likely owns one.
Look out at your driveway, your garage, your parking lot. The Answer is parked nicely outside.

Did you ever think that the Deadliest weapon could be your Vehicle?
Automobile crashes are the number ONE killer of teens. Scary isn't it?
Owning a vehicle is a HUGE responsibility. When you're on the road you have your life and other people's life to think about.

I am a senior in High school and this week i JUST got my license. Being able to drive, own a cell phone, and go out to hang out with my friends is all a PRIVALEGE.

Just thinking about how many teens own/ drive a vehicle is a really scary thing. 82% of vehicle crashes are from teenagers and their driving mistakes. Driving mistakes ranging from:

* Peer pressure- friends telling the driver to speed up, drive faster, race the person on the other lane

*Partying- having the music on FULL blast, dancing in your seats, singing along

*Cell phones- texting, receiving/ making phone calls

*Other- drinking and driving, no seat belts

All of these above are MAJOR distractions to the driver and also contribute to a large percent of car crashes and DEATH.

SO if you're the type of person to do any of these, or own a vehicle, please think about it....

You have a HUGE responsibility. You have your life, the people in your vehicles life(s), and the other people on the roads lives in your HANDS! You OWN the DEADLIEST weapon ever created. Think smart, Act smart, and Drive Smart

Teenagers at this point in life do the stupidest thing ever in existence. I doubt they realize that driving is a PRIVELAGE. I seem to recall an article less than a year ago (2007) that four stupid not yet 16 teenagers lied to their parents (stupid), the driver had a learner's permit (even more dangerous and stupid) took the car without permission with no adult ( incredibly stupid) and drove out for the movies (how stupid can you get?). I believe all four of them died in a crash at the highway. Parents have the responsibilty to teach their kids. Parents don't give your kid a car, you better go driving with them after they get that license. It's both the parents and teens' responsibility. Parents, your job is to be the PARENT, you set the rules, you enforce them. Teens, you're lucky your parents won't throw you out just yet. You're on your way to become an ADULT, act like one.

I don't think kids have the ability to think through the consequences of their actions. It's more of a "spur of the moment" type of brain function that keeps teens from realizing the true affects of their behavior.
