Intentions of applying to ProgressiveU.com was motivated by its initial scholarship program - Blogging for Progress Scholarship. Every little bit helps, especially when some of us are pretty low on income, are commuting on our own, and/or are running low on funds for tuition costs.
I just wanted to get to know my competitors better to see who I am up against. I am sure there are plenty of astute intellectuals out there, as well as very talented writers, artists, and experienced students who wish to win the scholarship reward. It would be great if we could collaborate with our ideas and have thorough conversations about our aspirations, personal goals, and create a support system to encourage each other to do our best.
I know I seem to come off pretty cheesy, but I am just saying that if you want to talk about politics, philosophy, and how to change the world for the better, then count me in. I really get into the conversations when it is particularly funny, though being serious about things wouldn't bother me either. I love to debate, though I find it often difficult to find people who can actually back up their side of the argumentative conversation.
Well, good luck to those enlisted and logged on for the scholarship. Best of wishes and I will be pm-ing you soon.
