well as everybody who drives a car or hears it on the news gas prices are slowly but surely get higher. gas prices didn't matter to me two years ago because the gas tank money wasn't coming from my pocket. Unfortunately i have to keep on paying more and more to fill up my tank and Bush says that he is going to lower the prices do you even think that is going to happen. does he have the power to do so. Also, everybody wants to blame President Bush for everything that bad happens to us.. why don't we have the check and balance system going? your views!

Well, we do have the check and balance system going on. President Bush isn't single handly attempting to lower gas prices. He is persuading the american public in general to put in their best efforts to aid in lowering it. He is urging Americans to limit their driving time. I know personally, my congressman here in Wisconsin is trying to push a new law on the gas mixture during the summer. Usually, the gasoline must be a special blend during summertime to decrease environmental pollution. This blend however is very expensive. This bill would allow Wisconsin to take the summer without the blend (it is a very expensive process to create it) so that gas prices will be lowered. So, just know that there are many others out there calling for reform in our gas prices besides the President.
