Where are we going?

When I wake up everyday I try to ignore what has happend to me. I try to ignore the fact that my Christian family turned there backs on me when I started to question what they hold most dear. I have tried to ignore the fact that when I ask a pastor, minister, cardinal, whatever they want to be called in todays world a question about things that dont make sense in The Bible, I cant get a straight answer.

I am tired of turning on the tv, and seeing a battle in the middle east, people killing each other over there beliefs. Is this a world that should even exist? Is this the creation that god made? I sure hope not. If it is, something went wrong. But instead of blaming a god or a devil how about we blame ourselves. We as a whole have created this mess, and we have to deal with it. As much as I try to ignore the fact that the worlds varied beliefs are not the cause of all the worlds problems, I understand it has a very large helping hand.

So tonight, when you go to sleep think about what the world has come to become. A world not filled with love, but hate for what different cultures believe in. A world that will kill you for not accepting there "knowledge" of god. A world of total and complete hypocrisy in the fact that religion says murder is wrong, but has no problems with it if it fits there needs. Wars and the killing of women or doctors who perform abortions. Though I am pretty sure war is much much worse. But the impact is just the same.

So lets just stop all this nonsense and realize that you cannot "save" the world. Just save yourself.
