I am a huge myspace fan and have found a way to make my many wasted hours matter.  I have been searching for groups who really need the support from fellow humanitarians.  I have found many groups who work to make life easier for those who have nothing.  One of my favorite groups that I have found is (red).

This group has used the love of "trend" to raise money for children and women who are affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa.  They also make it very easy for those of us who want to help, yet don't know exactly how.  All we have to do is shop (red) and we will help raise money for the Global Fund.  I think this is an awesome idea and that is why I feel it is important to pass it along to others.  You can buy a lot of different products- one being t-shirts from the GAP.  We all buy clothes so why not go the extra mile and buy (red) products?  How many of us have an Ipod?  Well if you don't, I'm sure you want one!  If you decide to take the technology plunge, why not purchase a (red) ipod and dance to the tune of a giving drum?

If you would like to know more information go to www.myspace.com/joinred

Also, if you care about the world and it's poverty level, check out www.one.org.  This is a group that's main goal is to make poverty history!  It's such a cool thing to get involved with!  I'm sure you would feel like such a better person if you took some time to make a difference!

isn't it nice to know that all the wasted hours can actually do something good? Facebook users can find plenty of these groups too. "For every (x number) of people who join, I will donate $1 to Darfur", "Two Clicks" "400,000 Faces" are just some of the awesome groups out there.

My mom cant complain that myspace is totally useless now, can she?
