Let's Just Vote Now

Ok, so incase you haven't heard California just voted to move their primary up earlier so that, "they can be as important to the process as New Hampshire and Iowa." EVERYTHING about this election is being moved up. The time that they have announced their candidacies, the mudslinging, the drop outs (who would have voted for Vilsack anyway?), and of course the fake accents (just speak normally Hillary). I know that this is an important election with the President not being able to run again and that Cheney will not be running. I can understand everyone being excited, but come on. I think that I would have to agree with Newt's approach to running which would be not announcing until later then everyone will be so sick of the other candidates they will vote for him in the primaries. What if all of this early attention to the Presidential race actually will make people stay home on Election Day? I think that the regular people of American will be so sick of this stuff come November 2008 that they will just stay home.

It's because everyone is all worked up in one way or another about the Democrats taking over Congress with a Republican still being President. so the two leading Democratic candidates (Hillary and Obama) are getting so much more publicity than everyone else.

I posted a blog elaborating on this. Feel free to read.
