Who is He?

When you really think about life, humanism dominates our world. There is a higher power wether we want to believe it or not. We must remember to walk with some shred and ounce of His love in order to get through this troubling world. At times we often blame others around us and ourselves for misfortunes. When will we sit back and realize that we are not perfect creatures and we all fall short of righteousness one point or another in our lives?

I know I have been apart of many painful experiences that have only made me better. I come to Him everyday and thank him for all the blessings that He has given me and those around me. If life was perfect we could not only forgive but we could also forget. Forgetting is not easy and thus causes further complications if the painful memories are swept under a rug and not sought through. We sometimes get caught in our past and blame the people we love around us before we change our lives for the better. Our minds heal faster than our hearts and we must respect His judgement, because only He knows what is truly right in the end.

I am open to what you believe, but I have to say that I disagree with your quote, "There is a higher power wether we want to believe it or not."

No, I don't have to believe it, and although I support the fact that YOU believe it, I am not sure what I believe, it's SO hard to believe that we are subjected to a higher power!!! I would like to talk to you about the reasons WHY you believe! In fact, what ARE your reasons? Aside from the bible, I can't seem to find any other reasons people believe!

Many people want to believe there is something else out there. That we are not just meaningless specks of dust in a never ending universe. They want to believe that we were meant for something else. Others experience things that make them want to believe. I myself am undecided. I'm even undecided if I want there to be something else. When it comes down to it, all I'm certain of, is that if everyone stopped worrying about how to get to the other side and whose religion was right, and worried more about making this side of life better, the world would be a much happier place.

You didn't actually answer your own question. Who is he?

yea i agree with Kiota...i believe you believe but how does that prove he really exist. and if everyone decided to be better people and there really was a heaven to go to when we die...if they don't fully believe will they go to hell? what about people that believe in Buddha? He's still a higher power but not God. where does that leave them?
