50 years... thats it? No death sentence? Nothing? Hell I'd do it...
A man was just recently sentenced to 50 years for hacking up his wife’s body and hiding the body. His son is now suffering and is now forced to grow up without a mother AND a father. The atheistic world view was the most probable fuel that powered and drove this man to do such a thing. Even so, the man brutally dismembered his wife and he still has only received 50 years for this horrible deed. In the report they spoke of this punishment as if it were seriously harsh. That is what our world is coming to.

Just to let you know, this happens every day in our society. So next time your friendly neighborhood murderer comes by make sure to thank him for doing what seemed "right for him". Hmpf... Atheism... go figure... I think that without a unchanging and universal series of rules and thruths the world will never get any better... I guess the religious have a step up on society in that sense.

i agree, why do people that take other people's life only suppose to take a fraction of theirs to pay for it? this isn't going to bring them back and it isn't going to make thier families greaving go any better.
i have a great example of this, my boyfriends sister was just killed by a drunk driver. and of course he survied, but how and why? they haven't pressed charges on him yet, but i'm sure they won't be as strong as they need to be. Why isn't it eye for an eye, or a tooth for a tooth? they torchured them why can't we do the same? kinda of a messed up society...
I don't really believe in the death sentence because that is murder enacted by the government which is against my morals as a sin but I do believe the guilty party should be punished.
Heres one thing that you should know. For you to use the word sin you are adding a biblical contect to the topic. And biblicaly governments are allowed by God to maintain order. God gives thoes people the right to sentence a man to death. I think you should brush up on what the charachter of god is (if you are a christian) and really understand the bible before you say that. Thoes that take lives should be more than willing to give up their own lives for such deeds. When your lifepartner or one of your childeren is MURDERED VIOLENTLY and/or tortured to death then you can talk to me about no death sentence. It is a balance of things. Why do you think america has one of the highest murder rates in the world? Its not the videogames. Its a lack of fear towards punishment.
