Hey everyone!
Alright, this is my very first blog and at my age i think that might be a little behind but...whatever. So, lets see where to start....
I think that i'll try and post one of these everyday. And on wednesday, (which is today) i'll open with a topic that I'll convert into a top ten list of what people think. Hopefully as people read this they will comment and contribute so I dont post a top ten list that only has one thing in it. However, for your enjoyment i shall post a list my friends come up with. SO todays topic is : Bad things to blurt out on a first date.
Now for the serrious part. I am part of the Humanities program at my high school. For those of you who dont know, humanities is the study of english and history at the same time. its a lot of fun. I wanted to base my blog on the things we talk about during that class and the opinions i didnt get to share as our class is over thirty people. However, it is currently our srping break and i now have nothing interesting to talk about. Lets find out what silly things are on the news. (btw, i LOVE john stewart and colbert ^_^)
Ok, so I play the news game with my friends. We go on the msn.coms and the aol.coms and such and see what the little flash player news feed is. and we talk about what the first image that pops up is. 1st msn.com. They had a picture of the latest cover of vogue with Lebron James on it. heres a link to the article.

What the little bubble said was "should this image make you angry?" and then the article goes on to talk about racism and how the black man is yelling so black people are angry.
Look, I know theres still racism out there and that sucks....but this is one man in particular taking a picture. its on the cover of vogue...and im sure he knows that. why cant it be that he might have been trying to look more manly? I dont understand why if HE was the one posing for the picture then that makes someone else racist. heres a quote from the article. "to LeBron and his handlers, he looks like LeBron clutching a pretty white woman on the latest cover of Vogue, and the image conjures up the idea that LeBron can race up court with a basketball and a supermodel."

ok, so the post office (who is/are (im not sure which is proper) running this as a trial in the bigger cities) will send you dead cells, mp3s, printers, and such to Clover Technologies Group who will refurbish and/or recycle the stuff so that none of it gets put in a land fill. YAAAAAAY going green
