so, i was woundering what people thought about this video. anyways, do believe that the robber baron always wants to dumb down the people so that they can take advantage of them, and control them. they are not against women working, so long as it is their own children, but they always willing to explore other people children to die in war so that their corporation can make money. this is sad, but these people arn't capable to accomplish this without the help of the people, they don't need to get all the people to support them, but they need enough people to support them, so that they can get things done. and sometimes, they use wedge issues or religion to pursue this goal, and get people on their sides.

In response to your title, I agree that ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance to the things in the world that make a person's life great is denial and selfish. People need to be aware of other things in the world other than themselves. Lives of other people are just as important as a personal life belonging to someone else. Taking away knowledge of other's lives is taking away information about the states of the world in poverty, for example, and all that action is is denial.
