It all began in a green "hippie" van...

Ever since I was little, I have always loved traveling. When I was born, my parents were traveling all around the United States in a green "hippie" van while raising support to go to Hong Kong as missionaries. Therefore, my travels began in my car seat and I guess you could say that since then, I have infected a lifelong illness called the "traveling bug". And let me tell you, it is a permanent diagnosis with no cure. The only treatment to keep the symptoms of this illness at bay is to keep traveling...anywhere and everywhere I can!

I just returned from my most recent venture yesterday and already I have been tossing out ideas about my next destination. Any ideas about where I should go would be greatly appreciated...tell me about the places you have been and what made your experiences an "out of this world" adventure! I can't wait to hear about your travels and tell you all about mine! Peace.

I did mission work in Juarez, Mexico last summer.

It's such a "scary place" to hear about... but in reality, most of the people are so nice. They are very community oriented and take people in with open arms. They give whatever they can, and in many neighborhoods in the city, there is not much to give.

It was an incredible experience. It's amazing to say that faith and love can get families through anything :)

I had the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Kenya two summers ago. I have never been so impacted by the way the people live on faith alone. I went to make a difference in Africa, and yet I was so humbled by the difference the Holy Spirit allowed them to make in my life.

I was just in Mexico last week and I would love to do a missions trip there sometime! Thanks for the tip!
