I think it's pretty much safe to say that the world loves "New York"--- loves hating her, that is.
You probably have all seen VH1's new reality television show "I Love New York." And for those of you who've been living under a rock, here's a quick explaination: 90's rap artist, Flava Flav created a show where he innocently seduced young women into falling in love with him. One of those lucky young gals was the lovely "New York" (who's NOT a gold-digger, by the way... any girl would fall in love with a dumb, barbaric millionare who looks like a sewer-rat). Producers decided to give her her own show; and now, New York uses her strikingly good looks and her kind, giving, NOT-bitchy personality to lure men into falling in love with her. (Hmmm... where have I heard that idea before?)
Loud, rude, sluttly, arbitrary, narcissistic... all the key ingredients to becoming a reality t.v. star; and New York posseses them all. And as we all know, only in America can you become a national super-star just for being a BITCH. "Hey, I wanna be famous, too. I'm gonna go on a reality t.v show and throw chairs at the producers and spit on the camera men and say things like 'ah HELL NAH, oh no you dih-int girlfriend'... that'll surly reserve me a spot on the Red Carpet." (sigh). Serioulsy, whatever happened to Leave it to Beaver, or The Andy Griffith Show? Have we really become this obsessed with nonsense?
Either way, here's to New York. Because without thee, I would have no one to hate on. And in honor of my favorite little reality t.v star vixen, I shall find the nearest ugly black diva who thinks she's hot, and spit on her.1

I have not watched the show because I could tell from the commercials it was going to be dumb.
I thought you made a good point about the show, but I didnt think all of the cussing was necessary to make your point.

Well I watch "I LOVE NEW YORK". It's stupid but it's funny. Reality TV is so popular today who can blame her for having her own show now. "FLAVOR OF LOVE" was stupid too but had monumental ratings on its finale- so someone is watching it. She is dramatic, over the top, looks like a dog in the face, but is still entertaining.
I looove this show because I hated her so bad on Flava of love!
