Your Lapel Pin Logic defies comprehension. Barack how can you say that deciding not to put a lapel pin on after 911 makes you a more thinking American or a more patriotic American.
Sounds like something Jeremiah Wright would say. Not the sort thing a great unifier would
say.
How can you be a part of a church that wants to bring a retired black preacher a 10 million dollar house with a ten million line of credit. My could that money help unemployed black or white! You have not issued a peep about that one. Will you treat the US Treasury with such pompousness.
Senator you are leaking that anti American stuff again. This does not even include the anti american bitter gun and religion comment!. This much is sure:
You Have misrepresented yourself to America by not revealing your anti american bias and base. You would not have gotten all that vote in the beginning had the voters known what the know about you now.
Now we have not spoken about William Ayers and his wife and you have hung out with these folks. They admit they are terrorists. They are criminals. They have been on the FBI's most wanted list. All this would not be bad but you are running for the Presidency of the most powerful nation on earth, not student council. You are proving to all you do not have the maturity to be President of The United States.
These are the opinions of rest in peace, your funeral guy.

I don't think he's shown anti-Americanism at all...it's all about interpretation...like him and Hillary have both admitted...mistakes get made, things get misconstrued, but it's all about fixing things...which he's doing...something as minute as wearing a lapel pin doesn't make you anti-American...and after Wright's comments he denounced the man and he doesn't actually belong to that church anymore...even in sticky situations...like last week's debates he handles himself...he's a leader which is what American's need. Plus, despite all that you say here he hasn't actually lost...he's expected to win N.C. and a ton of campaigning is being done in Indiana where Hillary was expected to win, but the polls have shifted so greatly that it's now uncertain.

but he is the only one who has misrepresented himself. Hillary does not deny being crooked and McCain admits to be a Washington Insider, Obama presents himself in the clouds above all. A blackman on a white horse. His church continues to pay for the Wright Estate, he gives $$$ to the church. If he gets the Democratic nod he will not get the election.
Against FLAG Lapel pins, GD America and William Ayers plotting to bomb Government BLDGS,
You cannot get much anti american than that,
but obama has admitted to his own mistakes too...so they're all misrepresenting themselves
just b/c he gives money to the church that is funding Wright's estate doesn't mean he supports it...he supports the church (meaning he supports tithing...upholding religion) not the church's decision to do something stupid like this
I'm against flag pins but I love our country...I don't think that makes you anti American...and as for Ayers...big deal he knows someone like that...wow...he's not the only one with a spotty past...both clinton and mcCain have plenty of scandals and suspicious activities...and actually a lot of analysts are saying that the ayers scandal is going to help him b/c he's reacted so quickly and it happened so far out from election time, giving his campaign the chance to recuperate

Hell will break loose.
There is nothing more American (please spell it with a capital "A") than questioning the status quo.
If you take a look at Wright's full statement, what he said was "GD America for treating its population as second class citizens"
Does the truth offend you? Our fellow human beings with skin color ranging from light to dark brown...our fellow Americans...have been stepped on for 5 centuries. Of course they have something to rail about! Think on this:
40 years ago, maybe even less than that, it was still acceptable to lynch an offending negro in the deep South...in the North, New Yorkers just chased them onto freeways...or the cops would shoot first.
You say, sir, that if "he gets the Demo nod he will not win the election"
Now why does that strike me as a statement from one who might be willing to assassinate him if he does win?
Better keep it closer to your smoking jacket, sir...your bigotry is showing.

During the debate in Pennsylvania, when they made such a big deal out of the lapel pin "issue," Hillary wasn't wearing one.

haha good point....but she must be forgiven seeing as how she's the epitome of American (note the sarcasm)
Don't forget him not saying the Pledge of Alligiance.
Basically, in a nutshell,
Barack is not qualified to be President. Hillary is. McCain is just a jackass.
My vote would be:
Hillary -Pres.
Barack- VP.
It'd be a powerhouse ticket.
-Mx.
two things...first..how is hillary qualified?
and secondly...the whole not saying the pledge thing...he was talking to someone and didn't hear them announce it thus why he didn't stand up...but the media of course spun it to look bad
at least I agree with you about McCain

allegiance to if not the United States of America and yes a portion of his donation go to the black liberation preachers 10 million dollar estate.
I have known about the Rev Wright. Thing and been blogging about well before it was is in the press. The Ayers thing is quite serious, he call s himself a terrorist and would have been in jail for the rest of his life if it were not for an FBI mistake.

The egos of each are too big!!!
You cannot prove he is incompetent. You cannot prove he's unqualified, so we will smear him with unpatriotism. This sounds like the same tactics the Bush Administation used to sway the Iraq War vote. Just scare the people away from change.
Restinpeace, I guess its your only strategy left. I wonder what will happen when it doesn't work either?

Americans were definitely not the only ones killed in the attacks. Perhaps he was saying that he embraces everyone who was lost?
"How can you be a part of a church that wants to bring a retired black preacher a 10 million dollar house with a ten million line of credit. My could that money help unemployed black or white! You have not issued a peep about that one. Will you treat the US Treasury with such pompousness."
Why does it matter who's black or white when it comes to a house ownership and credit?
And I happen to agree with his comment about religion and guns, most news stories didn't play the whole thing or print the whole comment which according to the Huffington Post and CNN.com read:
"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. ...
"And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are going to regenerate and they have not," he said.
"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations," he also said.
--------------------------------
First off, I do not believe that he said these people were wrong to cling to anything, but rather that people cling to what they know and understand. Sticking to what we were raised to believe and to what we are used to comforts us, right? Common sense here, right?
Is it not true that people get bitter from job loss and financial insecurity? Especially when it lasts for a long period of time?
I know that I am upset and bitter about my dad's joblessness and our overall family situation.
Additionally, it is pretty common for people to say negative things about others, or not trust things that they do not understand. I hear white kids make black jokes and vice versa. I hear many people make homophobic comments and jokes. I hear men make sexist comments/jokes and vice versa. I hear religious people trash and disregard other religions because they are different, which apparently means "wrong." People tend to stay loyal to others who they can relate to. It makes sense.
So I do not think that he said anything that wasn't already pretty obvious.
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." -F.N.

Senator Obama is that, he has anti american roots and leanings. I have said his logic is flawed. This does not make him unqualified. THESE ARE CHARACTER ISSUES AND THERE ARE MORE TO COME. HE DID NOT REVEAL THESE ISSUES WHEN HE STARTED HIS RUN FOR THE PRESIDENCY
WHICH IS DISHONEST!
Dishonesty that has been revealed. My opinion is because of this he will not win the Presidency.
What is anti-American roots? what does that mean?
Are you refering to his associations with people who want America to be better? The people who are angry with what this supposed "land of the free" really is?
I used to play football, and everyday my coach would spew negative comment after negative comment. He did it not to tear my down, but to build me up.
America has had a checkered past, and is in the midst of a rocky present. Restinpeace, if you are satisfied with the way America is now, then I guess you would not support Obama and his message. Obama is questioning the present. Many people feel that present day America is not working. From those very people he made the "bitter" remark about, to minority groups who feel they have not had their voice heard, to those who are victims of the mortgage/financial crisis. All these people want something different than its been, and you know what, some are mad about it.
If that's anti-American, then you might as well throw half of this site under your bus with Obama.

You are writing to some one who is dissatisfied with the present. If you check out my blogs you will see that I wrote a book and am bringing about change where I can. I am here at progressiveu because I want change.
In 2001 in Mortuary School I was aware of Obama's Church, and it's anti American leaning. If Obama were to leave the church which he will not, he may win the Presidency. If he would renounce Ayers the founder of the WORST Domestic terrorist organization in our History, maybe he could win the Presidency.
That said I want to believe Obama. I want him to address his background, his character and say why he has hung out with whom he has hung out with.
I am a victim of the financial crisis, I lost my house because i got sick, I Have been screwed by big corporations over and over.
There is no one who wants change more than me.
I agree with you, he fell into a deep trap.
