In today’s continually expanding society, we, the people in society, tend to ignore the facts that our planet has limits; that Earth has only limited space and resources. When discussing overpopulation, China seems is the nation that first comes to mind; however, the United States population is growing at a remarkable pace and we cannot ignore this simple fact. A big part of this problem is immigration standards and laws, another problem is the lack of resources that the United States and the world has to support the future seven billion humans that will be consuming resources on this planet. To go along with this, consumption of resources natural or not creates pollution, the way we are going now our environment will just simply deteriorate if society doesn’t open their eyes to how truly fragile our environment is. To say that we have a problem is an epitome; we face in our future global destruction if we don’t resolve to evolve these global issues. An important issue in politics and in society is global warming and the effects that are being seen as green house gases are continued to be released in to our atmosphere, destroying the ozone layer which raises the surface temperatures around the world. If this trend continues, we will soon see huge amounts of devastation including, but not limited to, crops dieing, ocean levels rising, a shift in weather patterns and huge devastating storms. If our world continues to become even more overpopulated, we will see more vehicles being driven and more factories being erected. Almost everything that we use in today’s society is dependant on oil such as plastic, pavement, gasoline and diesel, clothing, make-up, and other essential items that society needs. The need for these essential items will continue to increase as long as the world’s population continues to increase. What we need now is for society to open their eyes to the real world around them, not their perception of reality.

Throughout time, creativity has been used to rate art such as music and paintings. Society often defines creativity as something that is expressed using imagination. Creativity is seen as the ultimate expression of artistic ability and the use of artistic styles and techniques. However, another side of society views creativity as the basis of society as well as the advancement of society throughout time. Society has evolved as the people in society have evolved; creativity is expressed through art but is also interpreted to be an essential part of our expanding and advancing society. It is essential to compare and contrast the two existing views of the meaning of creativity in order to develop my own views on creativity. The views of creativity throughout society is seen through two middle class average American citizens, who do not earn large amount of money and who use creativity in their workplaces on a daily bases. The views of creativity throughout society are different throughout society and can be interpreted in different ways. Society views art as a painting, a sculpture, or even a musical composition. However, those of us who don’t mind stepping out of the box view creativity as part one of the essential parts of society. Without art, society could not advance technologically, politically or socially. One cannot teach creativity but one can learn how to express their views using creativity. Large corporations are teaching their workers how to express ones creativity, so new ideas can be formulated and eventually used. I never really looked at creativity as something that can be studied; I saw creativity as something that artists use in their works to show depth. This is the central view in society. I now see what creativity really is, that is, creativity is the basis of society, and without it the wheel would not be invented, the car would not have been created, nor would people be wearing glasses or contacts. Creativity is used to create new ideas and to create better products using the influences of past ideas
