Maybe you've heard: Rosie O' Donnell quit "The View". She got into a heated argument with Elisabeth Hasselbeck that aired several times. It was over the Iraq war. O' Donnell's remarks about American soldiers being suggested as possible terrorists (The U.S. soldiers had killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians). "Nice girl" Hasselbeck literally exploded, since she is a political conservative and O' Donnell is near radical and is very self-opinionated. O' Donnell will quit three weeks before her contract expires. Well, I guess she's not all "big and bad" as they say she is when it comes to her opinions. Rosie ran her mouth a little too much. It made it seem like "American soldiers that killed are like terrorists." Got to be real careful what you say. It happened all at the wrong time; Memorial Day is comin' up.

In my opinion, I agree that the troops should stay and fight for our country to enable peace and not to ignite future warfare on our grounds. I don't agree, however, with a troop surge. It's not helping. There should be a rotation (50,000 soldiers home for good, 50,000 new soldiers sent out to Iraq)...but stay in prayer, something good will come up.

We, the United States, are a rare country: We are free. The troops, right now, fight for our freedom and rights and our protection. If the troops were to back out now, just drop everything and come home, then Anti-Iraq groups stationed in the Middle East will arise and stifle Iraq's providence, then later, we'll have another 9/11 on our hands.

What do you think?

the reason we are rotating the soldiers like hot cakes is because we don't have enough. I know that they are other military bloggers here beside me, but for the non military minds, let me give you a preview. The soldiers who do the fighting ... knocking doors and going the killings, are called the infantry. they are trained only in fort bennning in Georgia and their military MOS is 11B,11C.they number less than 200,000. the rest of the group there are called combat support. the cooks, clerks, supply, medics... get the idea
the irony is that they are soo few that some of them are rotating for the third time because there is no one new to replace you. As we speak, we are killing them because they are killing us. The protectors of freedom are hunting osama. I thought he brought down the towers... i don't know
