Hey, this is a really tricky issue. I don't want to offend anyone. I know that there are some who are reading this who probably have had abortion. I just want to ask what you think about abortion being criminalized?
I'v seen first hand how abortion tears peoples lives apart. There have been 4 abortions in my family, and one of the people who have had an abortion is now struggling with drugs, and depression. A friend of a friend of mine had an abortion too, and she struggles with depression. Every night she wakes up thinking that she's hearing her own baby, the one that she aborted, crying. The government seems to advertise that abortion will make your life better, but what seems to be the easy way out ends up being the hard way. I don't want to see another life destroyed because of abortion. I am also a health major, and have studied that the baby, even when it's an embryo, is still a living being with their own fingerprints, and by the time they become an embryo, they already know how to suck their thumb. They can also move on their own while outside of the womb, and they are not the size of a fingernail, they actually can fit in the palm of your hand. I really honestly think that abortion should be criminalized, unless there are absolute dier situations that are life threatening. However; there are abortionists that say that someones life is at risk if they don't have an abortion, but usually they fail to tell people of alternatives like c-sections and stuff like that.
It should definitely be criminalized.

I also agree. I mean, in the Las. Peterson case, he was charged with double murder, or something like that. If they can count the baby as human there, than why not when a mom kills it. Is there a difference? One can kill it, but the other one can't? That does not make sense to me
I do not agree at all but I am not going to explain myself because you are allowed to think what you want.
i wouldnt want abortions to be a crime.. think of all the women who would get like black market abortions or whatever- no matter if its chemicals or coat hangers or whatever, its not safe. instead of just an abortion, now you have all these women that are risking their lives and getting infections or whatever..
I don't think that abortion should be criminalized. I am not pro-abortion, either, because I find it sad to stop a life before it has even started. But I have written a blog about this subject, with a case that brought deaths and disastersa lot of controversy, in a small country in Europe.
