We all know the people who do everything for the school and who are all involved in so many things. I am one of those people. I love to be involved, but one thing that does get to me is being taken advantage of. I don't like to know that I am the only one doing all the work.
This year I was elected as the class president. Myself, living in a very small town, what our class president does is organize prom. I have my commitees and my other officers but have they done anything yet this year? No! It is the most frustrating thing I think I have had to deal with this year. I know a lot of people go through this same thing. The reason why I write this blog is just to give advice.
I know that it is really stressful and at points you just want to give up. Just remember, you are not the only one going through this and you can make it through this. For the people who know that a person has taken on a huge responsibility such as this, be willing to help out because they will appreciate it.
I don't see why more students would just help out a litltle bit because it would make a lot more things easier. Why is it so hard to motivate high school students any more to help? Even donating for the troups was a strenous task for all of them. What has our generation come to?

I am Student Body Vice President and I get very little help from anyone aside from the student body officers. I think teens lack POSITIVE motivation. As a teen I feel so looked down on by society I am motivated to show that I am more responsible than they think. But that is not POSITIVE motivation. Maybe if we had positive motivation, we'd be more involved.
