the dreaded scholarship process

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

i am a junior in high school and one thing i hate doing is the applcation and writing process for scholarships. I know that the money is out there for people to attend college, we just have to take a little time to complete them to have a chance of success. I have done only one essay and it had to be less than 200 words. I am a very lazy person when it comes to writing as u can see if u see a number of grammtatical errors in my blogs. Math is my thing. I want to become a certified accountant with a masters degree. To achieve this i have to complete the scholarships or i will be paying a bundle of loans when i get out of school. i always look for the really easy essays and then i sometimes can even finish those. this is something that i jus have to buckle down and get the move on these scholarships because they arrent going to fall out of the sky in to my lap like i wish they would. it's all apart of growing up and takin responsibilty for things that you want out of life. that is why i am doing this blogging to hopefully award me with a scholarship that i can to futher my education

=) Unfortunately, the reason that the scholarship process is so picky picky is because they want to give money to students who are dedicated, willing to work hard, and have attention to detail.

The saying goes that the difference between "ordinary" and "extraordinary" is the little extra. They want to help people who are willing to put the last extra piece of effort into everything they do. The easiest way to get a helpful scholarship is by taking the semi-difficult scholarships you have already found and not giving up halfway through the essay.

There are also a variety of math scholarships around. You might want to look into those.

I like applying for scholarships, even the essay part. There's just something uplifting about knowing that someone is willing to invest their time and money on a complete stranger's success. I even like student loans- I am happy that I have made the opportunity to go to college.
