Sports is a term used as a game that requires skills of teamwork on coop in order to score and win. Many sports are played worldwide ranging from one objective to the next. Sports are supposed to be fun, safe and social. In canada, they have made a new "sport" not to long ago which the rules are to whack a seal of any size age etc. with something hard enough to kill them. I believe this should not be called a sport. Sure there are no laws against but that doesn't mean that they have the right to do this. It is immoral of what they are doing and should be stopped at all costs and as soon as possible. Killing seals will effect the environment and the animals the live within it. Maybe they might think it's good and fun, but what they are doing is not only putting seals in danger, it's also putting the other animals into danger too. Think about it, there are animals that feed on the seals, if there are no seals, then what will they feed on? What do you think? Would you call this a sport? Killing animals for the fun of it and not thinking how it would affect the surrounding environment. Would you really call that a sport? I call this brutality, violence, immorality. It is selfish and cruel. The seals never did anything to deserve this. They aren't mass multyplying, so why? Why are they doing this?

That sounds terrible! Those poor seals!
While killing any animal does not particularly appeal to me, I cannot disagree with it on the grounds of it being immoral. As long as there are many seals left, then it is not causing any extinction or any adverse effect on the environment. Do you know what they seals are used for after they are killed? If they are being used to benefit other through food or oil, then it is not so bad as if they were being killed exclusively for their fur.
