Recently I have taken up Cup Stacking. While investigating the World Sports Stacking Associations website (I like to research almost everything I do), I spied the following
WSSA History in Brief
The World Sport Stacking Association (WSSA) was formed in 2001 for the purpose of promoting and governing sport stacking around the world. The association was originally titled World Cup Stacking Association (WCSA). In 2005, the name was changed to its current WSSA in response to growing awareness that stacking is considered a sport.
This led me to question, what excatly defines something as a sport, versus a competition or a game.
So not only do I present this question to the Progressive Community for comment and discussion, I will also be investigating the situation and providing my Progressive Peers with my findings.

Yes I am very serious, cup stacking it one of the most fun things I have found to fill my spare time, I like relay stacking but since I don't have a team, I set up a table at one spot on my large driveway circle, do a lap, and complete the cup stack cycle, its hilarious to watch!
Secondly I looked and look on what defines a sport and there is so much random crap about it, that it is damned near impossible!
Wha5t really defines a sport I have decided is if there are enough people out there who care enough about it to make it so.

That is hard to really define. I always thought of a sport as something that gives you a work out or exercise but that can't really be defined either! such a hard thing to really define.
