I was reading one of my favorite blogs again, dvorak.org/blog and came across this video from YouTube concerning turning H20 into HH0 Gas. The idea here is that by doing this, we can create vehicles that are less dependant on gasoline, which will save us all money in the long wrong. I'm a little skeptical, personally, as I've heard about a few of these ideas to get rid of gasoline with water. Where have those other ideas gone? Do we even hear about them anymore? I'm all for a new energy source for vehicles, but come on! Will this actually do or mean anything?

what is HHO
Hydrogen is air and water combined. At a certain radio frequency, these molecules separate and become a powerful source of energy. I'm sure you've heard of the hydrogen bomb, so you know it's mighty powerful as an explosive. Containing this powerful energy source and converting it to a useful fuel, that can be transported and stored safely, as needed, is now a practical solution to the energy crisis.
It's not a hoax at all. Best of all, it's pollution free and contrary to popular opinion, it doesn't use much energy to activate it. If you've ever boiled water inside a microwave oven, this gives you some idea of just how economical it is to produce.
That's actually a good question. Explain.
On an unrelated note, the story of the girl who peed on her ipod is amusing.
The video supplied through youtube explains what HHO gas is. I'm absolutely terrible at science so all I could tell you is that it includes some gaseous form of water. The guy in the video definitely knows what he's doing.

This is an old one. I asked my father, and he had heard about it when he was in high school, and that was 200 years ago (well, 30 years ago) when there was a major oil shortage. People were even making money selling plans to make the gas and convert car engines to use it.
You can turn water into a gas that is a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen, and can be used to power a car. However, for every unit of energy you can get from the gas, it takes more than one to convert water into the gas. So rather than burn 10 gal. of gasoline in your car, you can burn 12 gal. to turn water into gas and then use that in your car.
It doesn't make sense.
Well, your dad needs to keep himself updated, and he should research before jumping to false conclusions. The question of HHO is when it will be feasible. To make HHO technology we have to accept two problems. The first is efficiency and the second is greed. Let us start with the most obvious, which is efficiency. The idea of burning Hydrogen gas is old but true. HHO gas will burn and has the ability to create an explosion within the Engine cylinder. But we must be able to produce enough gas consistently increase HHO production on demand to meet idle and acceleration fuel consumption needs. We have not reached that point. But understand that we have been burning fuel engines for over 100 years and we still only get 20-25% efficiency. (This may be due to controlled manufacture based on greed)
The biggest problem I see is we are not willing to change. We have built a society that is dictated by Oil greed, and a transportation maintenance system that needs gas tax revenue to maintain our infrastructure. With big government needing Gas tax money, and corporate greed from oil consumption, It is a lost cause at this point. We will not see change until the average Joe is hurt so bad or oil dries up. Only then will our society be willing change. Hope that day comes soon for both efficiency and lack of greed for oil revenues. (Note: Electric Technology combined with Solar is viable option, GEET Technology is another source to review, and hybrid and E85 are only band aide solutions for a gaping and terminal wound.)
Well, in this day and age people are trying to come up with better ways to fuel cars. This may not be the best one, but at least one guy is trying. And considering where I got the sources, I'd have to question you on calling this story a hoax. There may have been hoaxes twenty years ago, but this guy is definitely trying to work with a different way to fuel cars. Doesn't mean the alternative fuel will work though...
Just don't be quick to call something a hoax because your daddy thinks it is. Do your own research.

HHO is also called brown's gas or brown's fuel.
I've actually seen the results of the HHO car.
Remember you are using HHO as a supplement to Gasoline in most cases.

It's easy to make your HHO generator and there are many plans on the net.
The car that has one on these generators started out at 21 mpg.
The car is now getting 44mpg. this went up at a non linear rate.
This is because as the engine got cleaned out of carbon it ran more efficient.
This is a standard fuel injected engine. Big time scientist and such will tell you this can't be done efficiently, but, they said that other things weren't possible that now work.
Remember the exhaust tubes that make the big rockets fly were invented in a garage and made the difference in rockets by causing the fuel needed to be half. Most scientist said it couldn't work but a kid proved it did. Science Fair project.
Years ago it was said we wouldn't have computers smaller than entire rooms. Ah excuse me.. I have one that fits in my pocket and has more power than the big ones that took up entire rooms, and it doesn't have electron tubes in it.
if you want to know how to build the HHO car generator, it's basically metal plates, water, and something to make the current flow in the purified water, (ie battery acid) or I have seen people using baking soda.
basically you make it with more negative plates than positive plates.
Add electricity, use a current meter (clamp amp) to monitor your current and add your catalyst (battery acid) a little at a time and when your current reaches about 6-8 amps stop adding.
you will notice the boiling. your positive plates will eventually break down but they last about 4 months if you use stainless steel light switch plates.
run a tube about three times the size of a standard car vacuum line 5/16" diameter to the air intake of the car and it will begin using the HHO.
Remember to use a relay to run your generator and hook it to the key switch so it will not ever be on when the car is off or you will cause an explosion in the air intake filter box.
