In a relatively new piece of news, convicted 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui retracted the statements he made regarding his guilt in the events on September 11, 2001. While the majority of details are still pending on various websites, there is adequate coverage on most mainstream news sources, with different organizations emphasizing different details (as always). I find the CNN report to be fairly moderate.
Obviously, since little else has been reported, there isn't much to say at this time except that Mr. Moussaoui has done an excellent job of returning to the spotlight once he was denied the spectacle-esque execution/martyrdom that he desired. His claim on some news sources (such as Monsters and Critics) that he didn't believe that the US Justice System was fair until his life was spared bears investigation, but one must assume, at this point, that the issue is much more complicated than that. More to follow as details are released.
