Student Loans Getting Harder

Uhoh. This morning I read something that said next fall student loans were going to be much harder to achieve! They said its going to be very different from this year, when the lenders were competing against each other to get our business. Student loan companies have been receiving disapproval because of the loose standards that put many students in a lot of debt.
Within a few months if the situation doesn’t get better then student borrowers should be expecting increased loan costs, fewer participating lenders leaving many students desperately searching for money, and extremely tougher standards that prevent many students from even being able to borrow.
This just sucks. How are students just graduating supposed to come up with that high in amount of money? I mean we are going to college to learn and maybe one day be able to make more money then our high school jobs were offering. That’s ridiculous! We are just trying to better our future with school and stupid money is getting in our way. Now they are taking loans away from us? There are only so many scholarships. Education is slowly becoming what it was in the early days: only the privileged get to learn. In our society the only way to succeed is to earn a piece of paper that said you went to college. That piece of paper cost hundred of thousands of dollars that eighteen year olds do not have!
The kicker is that the people who are putting the restrictions on students are the ones who already went to college and probably used student loans to gradu

I don't think loans are so bad... I'm 3,500 in debt so far, but with a college degree I shouldn't have a problem paying back my loans over 5-10 years.

My state guarantees loans as long as you don't default on them. I'm really really deep in student loan debt, but it was what I had to do because I don't have anyone to help me pay for it.

That's a really nice policy. I wonder if my state has a similar policy? It would seem so, as I've always gotten enough loan, no matter how late I apply.

It is a great policy! Without it, I wouldn't have been able to go to school.
