internet porn is becoming an addiction, teens are spending less time in sports, friends, school, family
90% of 8-16 year olds have viewed porn online, the average age is 11. ELEVEN! so sad! what is American becoming, what are we teaching our generation and generations to come, the media is at great fault with the ad sex sells..who cares! if it is subjecting woman and turning into such an epedemic, why do it? why promote it so much, to make money? do you have kids who look at porn, do you think its ok?

3 out of 4 teens say one reason teenagers have sex is because tv shows and movies make it seem normal for teenagers to have sex. What would the numbers be if we didn't promote sex in the media? Sex offenders are addicted to porn, child pornography, is that what we want America to become, we are unsafe in our own homes because of it.
Many of you might say that pornography is just a pastime and it only involes the looker and doesn't harm anyone else, but how many times do you look at it, why do you look at it? soon its not going to be enough and you will seek more and more untill you have to have the real thing. It can ruin your life or someone elses whether it starts out that way or not
Pornography has turned sexual intercourse into impure, ugly, perverted, and destructive. Our culture intention for sex is self gratification and has little regard for a relationship, but the Lord says that the intention for sex is one man and one woman joined in a divine design of sexual intimacy in marriage and they will never be completely seperated from one another again.

You have an awfully negative view of porn. Have you ever watched it? You talk a lot about how bad it is, just curious to how many times you've watched it. Do you shop for the good quality porn? Or do you just type porn into google and click whatever comes up?
Yes some porn is disgustin, degrading, and perhaps harmful. However I think that porn in general is none of those things. I think it is sex. And I don't think sex is bad. I don't think watching sex is bad, I don't think having sex is bad, I don't think watching sex while having sex is bad(weird, but not bad)
Pornography is showing what humans do naturally anyways and just as some humans do things in a pervese way( to you at least) some porn is depicted in perverse ways.
I would be more inclined to listen to you if you presented any facts. You just say its bad and horrible and is turning 11 year olds into monsters....well prove it. Until then I can listen to a million people rant about how bad porn is but it isn't going to change the fact that it is just their opinion and not a fact.

I'm going to agree with the person above me and ask, have you ever even watched it? Or are you demeaning it and those who watch it simply because your religion tells you to? And do you actually enjoy sex? I'm assuming you're married, and that your husband is a Christian as well, meaning that he's the ruler of the household and you're simply the "wife," to do as he wishes. So do you really get the pleasure out of sex that you're supposed to? I bet you don't, and that's why you are so negative about the subject.

If anything, the BIBLE has done this in the minds of Christians the world over. There is NOT ONE statistic showing that watching porn makes someone more prone to violence, sexual deviance, or perversion. Porn is something that is watched by normal people all over the world for the sake of putting a little "action" into their lives. And it's not like people that make porn are forced to do it. The people you see on that screen are consenting ADULTS that do it because they want to, and because it's a way to make money. And on the contrary to your beliefs, some women believe that they are empowered by having control of their own sexual destinies.
Not only are the claims you are making false and solely based on outdated religious nonsense, they are complete generalizations and stereotypes.
I've watched porn. And I've had sex. And I don't think of it as something "casual" AND I bet you'd be shocked to find out that I've only had sex with one person and that is the person that I am marrying. And if you haven't already guessed, i'm NOT a Christian. So there you go, you don't have to be righteous and Godly to make good decisions in your life, you simply just have to be a GOOD PERSON. Religious views have NOTHING to do with it.

Definently agree with the people above me. Porn can be all of those things but it can also be none of those things. Im a teenager and i agree that sex now is just sumthing that every1 expects to happen to them before they go to college. Its something were taught to believe and im sure that some statistic like out of wedlock childbirths has gone up but porn has little to do with that. if anything its a safe outlet for people as a way to explore their sexuality and for sexual pleasure. dont make it seem worse than it is.
People have a right to view what ever they want. I think that it is wrong for 11 year olds to view it, but who hasn't looked?
It's not so bad that an 11 year old sees porn. The first time I saw it I was about 11 and now eight years later I still haven't raped or killed anyone.
