I absolutely adore winter. It is my favorite season and always has been. You escape the burning heat of summer, yet you can still eat ice cream. You get to bundle up in all of your favorite jackets and scarves and trek through the snow letting the wind nip at your face turning it a rosy color. Yes, I am aware that winter has not yet hit us, but this is me looking forward to it. The sky stays a beautiful gray, hazy color and makes it so much easier to get lost in your thoughts and just think and think for hours on end. It is also the perfect weather to stay home, watch a movie, read a book or ten, drink hot chocolate, cuddle with someone or something, sleep, play scrabble, watch TV, go on the computer, stare out the window, listen to music, pretty much do anything and fell comfortable and cozy. I love the feeling of being so bundled up i look like a snowman because it makes me feel perfectly safe. I love walking while the rain is pelting down because it makes me feel like I am part of this earth, and I get to watch all the plants go into hiding and then pop back out again as soon as spring hits. It makes school time slightly more bearable because you can sit in the classroom and stare out of the window all day and get lost in the clouds swirling in the gray sky.

Sometimes you can get cold like it is, outside with the wind chill, etc. Also, I dislike winter and fall because of the mostly cloudy skies, which is why I dislike the color gray. Furthermore in February and March, I start getting tired of snow and cold temperatures; therefore, I would start looking forward to spring.
