I firmly believe that the Bible and evolution go hand-in-hand. As long as you don't take the bible literally, that is. If you really look at it, the order in which God created things fits with the theroy of evolution. Lets not forget the bible was written by man, actually many men. They didn't know about the exsistance of dinosaurs and such creatures, so they didn't write about them. And I am aware that in the bible it says "days", but why couldn't that be a symbolic approach. I don't know, maybe I'm just a dreamer, but I really do think there is a middle ground here. This is what I believe anyway. The overwhelming evidence of evolution makes me believe that this is how it happened, but I also firmly believe in God. So I choose to find the middle ground and believe in both. I don't know why more people can't do this. It really isn't hard. Besides, I would rather believe in God, and find out I was right, then not believe in God, and find out I was wrong.
Evolution AND the Bible

The way i've tested that idea is to say that, if at one time humanity evolved AND Adam and Eve shared the garden, in which order did this go? If you place primitive socieities first then there were people BEFORE God created Adam and Eve, the supposedly first people created. Also, if you place human evolution at the end of/after Adam and Eve being created then how would two creatures with communication skills revert back to being primitive and then create their entire line down from the rest of the biblical patriarchs?
That's my personal idea.
