Too many choices -- good or bad -- can be mentally exhausting from PhysOrg.com
Each day, we are bombarded with options -- at the local coffee shop, at work, in stores or on the TV at home. Do you want a double-shot soy latte, a caramel macchiato or simply a tall house coffee for your morning pick-me-up" Having choices is typically thought of as a good thing. Maybe not, say researchers who found we are more fatigued and less productive when faced with a plethora of choices.
I am not a writer and I am telling you this because my writing is not perfect but its my best. This is where I am absolutely thrilled. I am one of the few people I have ever known of as just one of those poeple who completely avoid making any type of decisions. Now basic day to day choices are easy but after a certain amount of quesions or even if I find myself in a situation where I am forced to make a quick decision I will usually ask someone for their oppinion and go with that. Bad I know but it works so yeah.
:D
Finding out that this Choice making avoidance is somewhat of a protection for my emotions seems to really make me feel better about it. My boyfriend did think for a while that I had some sort of choice making deficency, The more reseach I did, I discovered that not only is it my minds way of protecting my emotions, but I am not alone in this, there are many many more people who suffer from this inability to make these hard decisions.

I find myself stuck in situatins with choices also. I remember when I went to church , they had a guest preacher that mentioned choices. He said in africa they only have one choice of bread. But when you come to America, you can choose white bread, wheat, cheese bread and more . We have so many decisions its pitiful.
