Pressure

Is it safe to say we are being consistently pressured by everyone every day of our lives! Even if it doesn't feel that way, it seems that it is. From the time we were born, we had to live up to a stereotype due to gender or what not. Then, once we reach kindergarten, we are expected to live the stereotype, and if we were some-what different, the world makes it difficult to accept us from others whom they consider "normal."
What's worst is that once we hit High School the majority of (pre-) teens want to live up to be accepted by others despite how much they hurt themselves in the process. They go out and buy the top name brand items and hope that their parent's credit card isn't maxed out by the time they've bought their 20 items. Once, the majority has reached high school they have their minds set on who they want to be and who they want to be accepted by as a friend. Then whats worst, is that the younger generation look up to these people- who already look up to dramatic celebrities.
The pressure of fitting in and then the pressure of getting into college. Stress builds and the stereotype continues with out anyone realizing it.
