I'm sure everyone has heard by now of John Kerry's comment about President Bush but came off as a slam against America's troops. His spokesperson said the line was worded differently, but of course, Kerry screwed it up. Now he's got to fix this problem.
So now, here's the irony: Kerry calls George Bush illiterate and unschooled, but (all Yale grades aside-- those don't mean anything) somehow, Kerry is the one who seems to keep messing up his speeches and fumbling over his words! And this isn't the first time Kerry's done it, either.
Quel ironique?
I find this absolutely hilarious. However, it just amazes me that this partisanship controls American politics. You'd think that these men would uphold what it actually means to be a statesman, but they do not. I have yet to see a really classic definition of a statesman.
